Welcome to PSHE at St Augustine's. PSHE includes Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education and Citizenship. PSHE is taught to all students throughout the school from years 7 to 11.

 

Key Stage 3: Years 7 & 8

KS3 Staff

Year 7= Mr Eckersley, Mrs Long, Mrs Rostron

Year 8 = Mrs Long, Mrs Radforth, Mrs McDonnell

 

During years 7 and 8 students are taught in class directed by their teachers for one hour every two weeks. This includes visits from outside agencies and practitioners such as Smoking Cessation, Healthy Living Team, Liverpool University and many more.

Key Stage 4: Years 9, 10 & 11

In years 9 ,10 and 11 students participate in 3 PSHE Drop Down Days a year, taking place in October, February and June. These Drop Down Days involve an array of engaging, thought provoking , inspiring and challenging curriculum interventions to encompass each students learning.
