The St Augustine’s Home Learning Policy stresses the compulsory nature of home learning and the important part it plays in the overall education of our pupils. In fact, its importance is agreed in the Home-School Partnership Statement.
The Home Learning Policy can be found below. The policy will be useful to families because it also suggests ways in which our young people can be supported outside of school with their learning.
Parental support is essential to enable a child to develop a regular routine of learning both at home and in school. If your son/daughter appears to have too much or too little home learning, please contact their Head of Year at school.
The Governors also wish to ask for the continued support of all parents and guardians in helping to implement this policy.
