A Note from the Headteacher
Welcome to our website. St Augustine's is a thriving community with a distinct Catholic Christian ethos, permeated by a foundation of excellence stemming from our outstanding practice in the Visual Arts. Our aim is to educate the whole child, academically, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally and to prepare each child for their future economic wellbeing. Bike and Skate Ramps at St Augustine's
Not sure what to do during the Easter break? The Youth Service will be attending St Augustine of Canterbury with the mobile bike/skate ramps on Thursday 10th and 17th April during the holiday. Ramps will be open from 10.00 - 12.00 and then from 12.30 - 15.00. This is open to all pupils and also your friends who live nearby. For further information see PC Taylor.

Drama Showcase
St Augustine of Canterbury Catholic High school proudly presents:The GCSE Drama Showcase. Please join us in celebrating the unit 3 work from Years 10 and 11. It will take place in the school hall on Thursday April 3rd 2014 starting at 6pm and finishing at 7pm. All are welcome to attend but children must be accompanied by an adult.

Year 9 Parents' Learning Event
Parents and carers of students in Year 9 are invited to a Learning event at the school on Thursday 3rd April 2014. It will start at 6:15pm and will finish around 7:15pm. The event will look at how we can support students with GCSE both inside and outside of school.

Vocab Express - Global Challenge - March 2014
The Vocab Express Global Challenge has been a great success. A huge thank-you to all students, and families who supported them, who participated in the Challenge. We finished 9th for Spanish, and 5th for Polish worldwide!. We were also in the top 20 for French, Japanese and Urdu! This is an amazing achievement for our school. Congratulations to Ellis J. and Patrycja D. who finished in the top 10 individually out of hundreds of students. Certificates and rewards will follow.
